Another day, another bridal shoot to show you. We shot these in the small town on Bungay in Norfolk which has a road of beautiful coloured houses where we shot most of these.

I was inspired by pictures of huge over the top veils I'd found whilst researching bridal looks and not really knowing where I might be able to get my hands on one I thought I'd have a go at making one. I borrowed a glue gun, bought some tulle and voila! I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out. It was a rather cold day and (similar to Jasmine's cardigan in the country photos) I had lent Hannah my faux fur coat to keep warm, loved how it looked so ended up leaving it on for the majority of the shots. I lent her my wedding rings to complete the look.

I haven't styled men before so that was new to me. The suit was kindly lent to me by John Field Formal Hire in Norwich. I decided on a dark grey as I knew Shahmir already had a black suit of his own and I wanted something different. I also borrowed a pink tie but in the end stuck with the silver for these shots. The cane added a little over the top flourish!

Bridal shoot: Country Wedding

Make up: Sheree Greenway and Camilla Felgate

I actually want to squeal with joy as I am so over the moon with these photos. By far some of the most 'me' photos I've styled. I honestly believe I would adore them even if I had nothing to do with them. I've admired Camilla's work for a while now so to have these amazing photos to add to my portfolio is fantastic. The girl is a genius!

The Bride's look in this set of photos is rather special to me as the dress is my Mum's wedding dress from some 30 years ago! The zip had broken but I rather like the bit of open back you can see in the above photo. Accessorised with vintage clip on earrings, a bow I made myself and a gorgeous natural/boho bouquet. Obviously, as were in a field, heels weren't an option but I actually really like the unusual choice of footwear in these shots.

The Bridesmaid's look was almost accidental. I chose the dress, then Jasmine was wearing this cardigan my friend had brought along under her coat just to keep warm but the colour looked so fantastic we decided to keep it. The boots were a necessity and the orchids in her hair had fallen off the bouquet much earlier in the day and were the perfect finishing touch (thanks for the suggestion Steph!)

Our lovely groom wore his own suit and a simple buttonhole made to match the bouquet.

Stay tuned for the 'Town Wedding' look. Coming soon!!

The Lingerie Parlour Photoshoot.

You may remember that at the beginning of last month I organised a photoshoot for the promotion of a new online shop called 'The Lingerie Parlour'. TLP is owned by the lovely Leah Loverich and she came to me to ask is I'd help her get some beautiful pictures to use on the website.
One of the models, my friend Steph, kindly lent us her house as the location and we spent ages getting the bedroom just right (including me bringing over my own bedside table and telephone!)
Leah brought along 50+ pieces of beautiful slips, bed jackets and night gowns.

I'm so thrilled with the photos and if you see anything you like the look of The Lingerie Parlour will be open very soon!
